Ridge (Men of Honor) Book 1

by: Livia Quinn

Famous fashion model Lana Maisel could have had her choice of men. But she left that life behind at the ripe old age of twenty-four to pursue her dream of a photography and production studio and now she needs one man to be the face of her franchise. The Calloway women in Buffy’s life have always said “when you meet the man you’re going to spend the rest of your life with, you’ll know”.

Ridge Romano didn’t know what had possessed him to get on a stage with two cover models during a strip bingo contest. He’d been in D.C. at some critical meetings (testifying before a Congressional committee on veterans’ issues, then he’d followed the gorgeous redhead off the elevator and here he was, up to his Special Forces tattoo in manure.

Who said Fubar only happened in the field?

Books of Livia Quinn

He’s “the one” and everyone knows it but him.

Billionaire ex-soldier and CEO, Ridge Romano’s mission is to improve the lives of wounded veterans. With the big vote on his veterans bill coming up before Congress soon, how had he ended up on stage between two cover models with a hundred women shouting, “Take it off, Tucker!”? That’s the question his family and friends would be asking tomorrow. That, and “Who’s Tucker?” If he could only slip away without repercussions.

Buffy Calloway’s face and body were recognizable worldwide but the ‘face’ she’s looking for is the face of her franchise. Interviewing cover models at the D.C. conference, she finds ‘her man’. Tucker – the late arrival – has the ‘je ne sais quoi’ that will make her talent agency and photography studio an immediate success.

The Calloways have always known what they wanted and Buffy knows he’s ‘the one’. There’s just one problem. Ridge laughs at the notion of himself as a cover model. He has more important priorities. Who is Buffy to argue with such a noble cause, but she’s determined to show Ridge he’s underestimated the influence of a vast romance community.

Could this be the first time a Calloway was wrong?

Meet the Author
Livia Quinn grew up outside Washington, D.C. in the subdivision that houses the Redskins Stadium and attended many sporting events with her father, a sports enthusiast. As an only child she became her Daddy's tag along. Ironic, since she loves her football and she's no where near a football stadium now where she currently resides on a sleepy bayou in Southern Louisiana. She brought a phobia of storms to the South where it grew into a character in her books and the Storm Lake series was born. Do you believe that anything can happen? that there is a world of possibilities out there for each of us? This is a recognizable theme in Livia's books. Each of us deserves love, happiness and to be treated with respect as unique human beings, each embodying our own gifts we bring to our sphere of influence. We can each make a difference in someone's life. Livia's father brought her up to believe in herself and in others. She never looked at herself even though she was a girl as being trapped in a mold. As such, she has been a sales person (cars, trucks, burglar bars, fences, cosmetics, graduates), a plant manager, business owner, mail lady, and professional singer. She has so much fodder stored up that she's dying to share with her readers. About love, well... Livia knows... Good things, like love, happen when you least expect.
